10 Amazon Seller Conferences in 2019 [updated]

By October 10, 2018 Amazon, Conference

Those who follow the internet retail industry are well-aware of the potential marketplace Amazon presents to both high-volume vendors and first-time business owners.

While there are many ways–including webinars, blogs, news sites, and peer forums to stay educated on the latest issues and concerns for Amazon sellers–the sheer amount of information and sources can be difficult to parse.

Conferences are an essential way for vendors to stay up to date on the latest trends and gain mastery of the techniques necessary to refine their strategies and expand their sales.

While the Amazon conferences in 2018 are mostly over, we have a lot to look forward to in 2019.

Here are the best Amazon seller conferences to attend:

1. The Prosper Show

When: March 17-19, 2019
Where: Las Vegas, Nevada

What sets the Prosper Show apart is that it’s one of the few ecommerce conferences that is exclusive to Amazon vendors. Billed as a “continuing education conference for established Amazon sellers,” the content is curated for those with intermediate or advanced experience.

Aimed at online sellers seeking to improve their business on Amazon, this conference features several ex-Amazon leaders and CEOs/General Managers from leading Amazon marketplace solution providers using workshops and seminars to help sellers learn how to build better online businesses.

The point, according to organizers, is to lead with education first, while also providing sellers with access to dozens of leading solution/service providers in the Amazon ecosystem.

2. Amazon Professional Sellers Meetup and Workshop

This exclusive smaller annual event hosts around 600 Amazon vendors, and keeps growing. The meetup includes a workshop for private labelers with a focus on optimizing current listings and promoting new product launches.

The event also hosts a number of featured speakers. Past discussions include how to analyze and optimize costs and the difference between selling a product and building a brand.

Event information for 2019 has yet to be posted, but you can now get access to the 2018 recordings.

When: May 15-17, 2019
Where: Miami, Florida

If you’re sick of conferences where you have to jump around and give high fives every morning, you’ll find this one refreshing. The Sellers Summit markets itself as “not your ordinary feel-good event” and is instead a “curriculum based experience.” The workshop is designed to operate on two main tracks: one for novices and one for pros.

The former will help fledgling businesses to identify potential sourcing vendors and develop a blueprint to scale their business. The latter will focus on advanced techniques such as search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click advertising (PPC), conversion optimization, and copywriting.

The event also features an exclusive mastermind meeting comprised only of sellers making over $250,000 a year. This will allow business owners to learn from and network with other successful entrepreneurs.

Still, IRCE is an excellent option for Amazon vendors. Past conferences have included panels and advanced workshops on Amazon listing tactics, how to best utilize fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), and whether to operate as a first or third-party seller on the platform.

IRCE also offers introductory tutorials for those business owners just wading into the world of Amazon.
